Position Overview:
The ICT Officer will be responsible for supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing technical support to staff, and maintaining system security and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in IT support or a similar ICT role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking.
- Experience managing Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) such as Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com, Agoda, and Channel Managers (e.g., eZee Booking Engine).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, email systems, and cloud platforms.
- Basic knowledge of database management and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Ensure data security through regular updates, backups, and monitoring.
- Manage user accounts, emails, and access rights.
- Maintain and monitor internet connectivity and network systems.
- Assist in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
- Support staff with IT-related training and guidance.
- Maintain documentation of IT systems and incidents.
- Collaborate with management to identify and implement ICT improvements.
