We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic guest-focused Housekeeping professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests.
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the team of Housekeeping Attendants to achieve operational objectives while ensuring the hotel’s cleanliness and maintenance standards meet the required expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare job assignments for Housekeeping Attendants.
- Issue keys and supplies to Housekeeping Attendants.
- Monitor VIP rooms, Do Not Disturb, Sleep Out, and Double-Lock rooms, and take appropriate action.
- Attend daily meetings and receive special instructions.
- Check rooms before reporting them as vacant.
- Handle special guest requests promptly and efficiently.
- Inspect cleaned areas using checklists to ensure standards are met and report maintenance issues.
- Record found items and hand them over to the Lost and Found department.
- Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and stairwells.
- Train and assist Housekeeping Attendants, and provide feedback on their performance.
- Assist with inventory and ensure housekeeping equipment is properly handled and maintained.
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Previous experience in the Housekeeping Department within a hotel is required.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Computer literacy is essential; experience with Opera system is an advantage.
