Position: Branch Manager

The Branch Manager is responsible for meeting Retail and SME financial targets through a world-class sales and service management system. The role ensures the branch operates smoothly and efficiently in compliance with institutional and BOT regulations. This position also includes servicing corporate customers and supporting operational excellence in partnership with the Central Operations Unit.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all aspects of running a successful branch and delivering strong business performance.
- Lead and motivate the branch team to provide excellent customer service.
- Drive business growth in CASA and Fee Income products while ensuring high service quality.
- Identify opportunities to build and grow profitable customer relationships.
- Achieve sales and business performance targets.
- Acquire new customers and retain existing ones through relationship management.
- Ensure operational efficiency and staff productivity across the branch.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions, including inter-bank transactions.
- Prepare and submit periodic and statutory management reports.
- Implement and monitor branch control procedures with a strong focus on financial security.
- Resolve complex customer issues in collaboration with other branches or departments.
- Foster a service-oriented culture through coaching, guidance, and motivation.
- Represent the bank in community initiatives to enhance visibility and business opportunities.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Cluster Head in the absence of the MCSOP/Ops Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant professional qualifications in Banking, Finance, or Marketing.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position within the banking sector.
- Proven leadership, people management, and banking operations skills.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, sales strategies, and business principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and sound decision-making abilities.
- Strategic mindset with strong relationship-building capabilities.
- Resilient and able to perform effectively under pressure.
