Bravo Group Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Transport & Logistics to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Group’s transport, fleet, warehousing, and ICD/CFS operations. This position plays a key role in driving efficiency, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and digital transformation, positioning Bravo Group as a leading logistics provider in Tanzania and across the SADC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Group’s transport and logistics strategy, policies, and KPIs.
- Oversee fleet management, warehousing, ICD/CFS, and distribution operations.
- Ensure full compliance with transport, safety, environmental, and labour regulations.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, including ERP, TMS, GPS tracking, and cargo visibility systems.
- Manage cost control, budgeting, and financial performance reporting.
- Oversee HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) compliance and risk management.
- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams across logistics and terminal operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain Management, or Mechanical/Automotive Engineering (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Valid National and International Transport Manager CPC.
- Minimum 10 years’ senior experience in transport and logistics, including ICD/CFS and fleet management.
- Proven expertise in financial management, operations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in digital logistics systems and regulatory compliance.
