Position: Manager – Controls
Reports to: Head of Internal Controls
Vacancy: One (1)
The Manager – Controls is a key role responsible for overseeing specific operational functions within the bank to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of internal processes such as customer data transfers and financial transaction batches. The position ensures compliance with operational standards, enhances performance, and minimizes errors to support excellent customer service and operational stability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor daily individual and batch processes to ensure all transactions and operational tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Implement and enforce quality assurance procedures to detect and prevent errors in process outputs.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Analyze batch process performance and identify improvement areas to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports on process performance, issues, and resolutions for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in banking operations, internal control, audit, compliance, or risk management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position.
Core Competencies:
- Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills for evaluating transaction and process data.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing operational data.
