Open Positions and Description
1. Mechanical Technician
Reports To: Mechanical Supervisor
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance checks, including vibration and temperature inspections on rotating equipment.
- Repair and maintain static equipment such as valves, pipework, pressure vessels, and tanks.
- Execute planned mechanical activities in compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment and conduct basic Root Cause Analysis.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, tolerances, and fits.
- Report resource use, job scope changes, rework, or deferred maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in manufacturing or extractive industries
- Technical Skills:
- Mechanical upgrading (Fitter, Welding, Turning)
- Belt splicing technology (cold repair, hot splicing, pulley lagging, belt alignment)
- Ability to read technical drawings and specification sheets
- Hands-on equipment experience
- Behavioral Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
2. Instrumentation Technician
Reports To: Instrumentation & Automation Engineer
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluation and troubleshooting of electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and PLC systems.
- Calibrate instruments to maintain accuracy and reliability.
- Inspect and test flowmeters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and weigh scales.
- Disassemble, clean, and repair or replace worn components.
- Replace or recalibrate inaccurate instruments.
- Conduct scheduled inspections and ensure equipment integrity and reliability.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Education: Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in manufacturing or extractive industries
- Technical Skills:
- Electrical maintenance operations
- Electrical and electronics knowledge
- Behavioral Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
3. Electrical Technician
Reports To: Electrical Supervisor
Main Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic systems, wiring, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems using test equipment and tools.
- Inspect and test electrical components to detect defects or hazards.
- Diagnose and repair electrical circuit breakers, transformers, and components.
- Test system continuity to ensure safety and compatibility.
- Repair or replace wiring, fixtures, and connect power cables to equipment such as motors.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in manufacturing or extractive industries
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of cement manufacturing processes
- Electrical maintenance operations
- Electricity distribution and transmission
