There is a fantastic opportunity in the Manufacturing Department of Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd. For a Packaging Team Leader post headquartered in Dar es Salaam, we are seeking exceptional people with the necessary manufacturing expertise and skills. The Unit Manager-Packaging will get direct reports from the chosen applicants.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. To lead WCM (World Class Manufacturing) projects on one’s own shift: ensures team buy-in and communicates work practice deployment strategies. provides team members with work practice coaching. Execution. helps team members solve problems in different situations. makes certain that team members follow and apply divisional standards. carries out line walkabouts and/or work practice maturity evaluations for their own shift to make that best practices are being implemented effectively and are ingrained. Best practices for benchmarking (internally).

2. Ensuring team members comprehend and follow the operational, quality, and process standards, work instructions, maintenance schedules, work practice deployment plans, and performance targets is known as operating and process control. Evaluate and approve shift performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety Management (QCDSM) and make sure that all necessary administrative duties are completed to assist the production team.

3. Plant and Equipment Maintenance: Verify that team members are following work instructions and maintenance schedules by performing necessary independent maintenance chores and any necessary on-the-job repairs.

4. Verify that team members comprehend and follow quality standards through quality control and analysis. confirms that team members follow the task instructions when doing routine quality checks and analyses.

5. Problem solving: Help team members address situational difficulties by coaching and supporting them in applying the appropriate problem-solving strategies (e.g., quick fix, One Point Lessons (OPLs), 5 Why, etc.).

Skills, Experience & Education:

In addition to having three years of technical and leadership experience in an FMCG setting, the incumbent should possess a minimum of a degree in electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering. Strong analytical abilities, a proven high degree of integrity, strong leadership traits, and effective communication skills.
