The University has taken every precaution to ensure that the information in this prospectus on how different courses are organized, staffing levels, and teaching facilities is accurate and up to date. Students are advised, however, that due to logistical limitations, the University cannot guarantee that every elective course mentioned in this Prospectus will be offered in any given academic year.
TUDARCo Programmes Offered
There are currently eighteen (18) academic programs offered by TUDARCo: Three (3) master’s degree programs, one (1) postgraduate diploma program, four (4) diploma programs, seven (7) bachelor’s degree programs, and three (3) certificate programs are available.

- Bachelor of Laws – Morning Session (LLB)
- Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (BMC)
- Bachelor of Laws – Evening Session (LLBE)
- Bachelor of Arts in Library and Information Studies (BALIS)
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Bachelor of Information Management (BIM)
- Bachelor of Arts with Education (BAED)
- Bachelor of Human Resources Management (BHRM)
Admission Requirements
All applicants must submit their applications online at osim.tudarco.ac.tz. Only those who meet TCU’s minimal entry requirements should submit applications. Any money paid for admission will be lost, and applications that do not meet the standards for access will not be considered.

It is against the law to provide false information when seeking for admission. If it is discovered that applicants submitted false certificates or any other deceptive information, they will not be considered and will be subject to the proper legal action. It is recommended that university students not attempt to apply for admission. If such students submit their applications, they run the danger of being de-registered. In the same way, former students who have already earned their degrees are not permitted to enroll as undergraduates under the sponsorship of government loans.
- New students are admitted in October or November each year.
- All new students must attend the orientation program, which usually happens in the sixteenth week prior to the commencement of the school year.
- Successful applicants will not be registered until they have paid the necessary college fees.
- Unless there are exceptional circumstances, no student will be allowed to change courses after the Friday of the fourth week after the first semester begins. A student can only transfer between academic programs, according to TCU, provided they fulfill the requirements for admission to the program they are applying to and there is a spot available in that program.
General Admission Requirements
TUDARCo now offers seven (7) full-time bachelor’s degree programs that endure six semesters, or three years, within each of its four schools.
To be accepted into bachelor’s degree programs, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
Scheme for Direct Entry (Form VI): To be eligible for direct admission to a degree program, candidates must have earned the following:
- A minimum of three (3) credit-level passes in approved Certificate of Secondary Education (or “O”) courses; and
- 4.0 or higher overall, with a minimum of two (2) passes in approved Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (or “A”) level courses.
The following must be met in order for a candidate to be eligible for equivalent admission to a degree program:
- At least four (4) passes in the approved topics (at the “O” level) of the Certificate of Secondary Education;
- A degree in a topic relevant to the program for which the applicant is seeking from an approved university with a least 3.0 GPA.
